Sp. Asdvadzadzin of Mazgerd - Mazgerd, now called Mazgirt, was a largely Armenian town prior to the genocide with a population of 1200 Armenians in 150 households. There were two Armenian churches in the town and ruins of several monasteries in the vicinity. Sp. Asdvadadzin is largely in ruins. There exists oral history that the stones from this church were used in nearby homes or possibly a mosque. The photographs were taken in June 2015.
