Chapel and Cemetery in Town of Moks - The cemetery surrounding this chapel is extensive, one of the largest remaining Armenian cemeteries I have seen. Thierry identifies a church in this vicinity named Sp. Hagop of Dasht. He supplies alternate names of Dira Deshti and Mezar kilise [cemetery church]. Even without photographic confirmation, it seems likely to be the same church. Thierry states the structure to be similar to Sp. Asdvadzadzin of Moks and dates to at least the 14th century when a manuscript produced in the scriptorium was written. There is evidence of recent vandalism to the cemetery. The photographs were taken in 2013 and 2014.
