Sp. Yerrortoutiun of Hazari - The village of Hazari, now called Anıl, was an entirely Armenian before the genocide with 351 Armenians in 75 households. As of the 2000 census, only 85 people lived in the village. There are ruins of many old homes and foundations. There is a map of the village in the 2 volume Hazariabadoum by Vazken Antreasian. The location of the church and adjacent school correspond well with the map. Some stones apparently from the church can also be found in adjacent structures. The photographs were taken in June 2015.
