Khoulavank - The Armenian monastery of Khoulavank was outside the village of Khoulakiugh or Khoule, now called Şahinkaya. The monastery was also known as Movsisavank or Sp. Kevork vank. The church probably dates from the 10th century, but it went through a number of restorations, the last being in 1882. After the genocide, the church was used as a barn and even living quarters were built on top of it at one time. Significant vandalism has occurred in recent years with the goal of collapsing the roof. The photographs were taken between 2012 and 2014.
